I live in a townhouse development that, for whatever reason, does not have screen doors. I love the time of year when windows are open, fresh air is coming through. However, I have one window in the front, one window in the back, and it doesn’t create much airflow. Leaving the door open not only lets the cats out, it invites the bugs in. For six years I have not had a solution, and now I do. This was very easy to install. The tape is very sticky on one side, velcro on the other. Put it on the outside frame of your door, if the screen is wide enough. If not, you can also put it on the inside of the frame. Since there will be some pull on the velcro with people going in and out, be sure to put the thumb tacks in, they will keep it very secure. Then you simply attach the screen door to the velcro. It might take you a few times to get it lined up right, but after several attempts, I recommend you start at the top, in the center. The magnets do keep the door panels together. As soon as you go through them, they go bright back together. The weights installed in the bottom keep the door hanging straight. And for now, my cats and my pooch have not figured out they can go through it. They think it’s a door. I took them in because they were adorable, not for their smarts. 🙂
10 out of 10 thumbs up!
