I purchased this to replace another one I had that lasted just about 6 months. The quality of this one out of the box was so much nicer. It has a real leather look and feel to it. More padding. It has elastic belts to go around your headrest and around the back of the seat. It does stay in place well. The controls are on the seat. They can be a little awkward to get to. A very long power cable, so you can place it in a variety of locations. I strung mine to the plug in my center console and it stays out of the way. The cooling fan rests between your legs and it can get in the way, but after a few minutes I didn’t notice it. When you turn the cooling on, it goes to work right away. You can feel it pull the cold air from the car and run it up the length of the seat cover. It comes on in the high mode. Another push and it goes to the low setting. You can’t tell by looking at the panel if it’s in high or low, you have to tell by the sound of the fan. The heat is the same way. I believe it comes on in the high mode, but since there is no fan sound, you can’t really tell until it heats up. It does take a bit to heat up. I was able to feel some warmth within a few minutes but to get it to what I considered was full throttle took probably 10 minutes. It does spread nicely through the seat cover. Overall I like it, although there are a few things that could be improved on, it’s much better than my previous one.
7 out of 10 thumbs up
