The VERY first thing I need to mention is that in my video I state several times that I cannot find an on/off switch for the car. Well, it would be that rather large push button on the top. So, please excuse my rather foggy brain.
As far as quality of construction, this is very impressive. The tracks come in pieces that are about 8-10 inches long, but can be broken down as small as about 1 inch. All different colors. So if your tot wants the track to be a different color every inch, they can do it. It takes a bit of pressure to get the tracks connected, but since they are new, that’s to be expected. They do hold very securely, and I don’t think that will change over time, due to the shape, and the way, they connect. There are 2 types of track. I show both of them in ,my video. I do state that I cannot figure out how to get the non-LED track snapped together, and that part I never was able to figure out.
I’m impressed with most of this – the bright LED lights, you can turn the lights on and off, the options to really personalize the colors of the track, the ease of setting it up, the quality of the car, the speed of the car, the lights on the car. All of these particulars are very nice and any car lover is going to be enamored. It comes with a decent amount of track, and the flex to it is at each section, so you can literally change the shape of the race track every inch, also. The car moves pretty swiftly. When I first set it down, it wanted to jump the track. But, I had also made the smallest track possible. After I set the car down again, it did fine, as you can see in the video. I’m going to purchase another set so that there are 2 cars available and more track. Good set. Suggestions would be to have an option to adjust the speed to maybe 2 or 3 different levels. This one goes pretty fast. And to include some instructions, that would be most helpful.
8 out of 10 thumbs up
