Costyleen Women’s 1950s Vintage Sleeveless Tea Dress

Usually the clothing from overseas runs small, but this runs very true to size. I typically wear an 8, but I went up a size, to the 12/14, and I could have gone smaller. It doesn’t look bad, it just isn’t as form fitting, so it’s not quite as flattering. But oh it is a beautiful dress! It’s a heavier fabric and has a lot of stretch to it, so it’s very forgiving. The weight of the fabric also works as a bit of control in the bodice and waistline. I love how full the skirt is, the type I loved to spin around in when I was little 🙂 The netting just peeks out from the hem to give a flirty look to an otherwise sweet dress, and also works to make the skirt fuller. The bodice is really unique with a twist tie at the bustline. Love it!
