Yovente Wireless Charging Pad

If you have a QI enabled phone, I highly recommend you consider wireless charging. It is so much more convenient than wired. My typical scenario is:

I’m on call and sometimes receive calls in the middle of the night. I reach over to grab the phone, half asleep, forget it is attached to a cable and as it reaches the limit on the length, it is yanked back out of my hand, flying into the dark oblivion. I’m left scrambling around in the dark, trying to find the light, trying to find the phone, barely conscious. And fervently saying a prayer that I didn’t manage to hit the answer button and the caller can hear me making all manner of inhumane noises while I knock things over and scramble blindly.

With my awesome wireless pad, I set the phone down on it and it charges. No cables, no oops moments. I found that this one seems to have a wider than typical circumference. There are some that are very specific on where the phone can be placed and they don’t allow much more than a centimeter or so of being off-center. But, as long as I get my phone within a few inches of the center of this pad, it charges. Basically, I just set it down and it charges. It always has a soft glowing ring around the perimeter. When charging, it turns to a soft blue. So it can serve as a dim nightlight also. It has the thinnest profile of any other charger I’ve used also. It nearly blends right into the surface it’s setting on. I have not checked the output, I do not have a tester at this time to do that. I typically set the phone on the charger when I go to bed. It’s always on its last breath by then. I have a habit of waking up around 4 hours later, always have. My phone is always fully charged by then.  So, I cannot speak to whether this has an accelerated charging speed, but it does what I need in less than the time I can commit to it, so it’s a great product in my book.

I give this 10 out of 10 thumbs up.
